7 Tips for taking care of your Standee

Tip 1 : Be easy while Pulling the banner

It is important to understand the standees are not as rough as we thought them to be. Roll up standees are made of aluminium material which is not as thick as iron. It is light weight but robust.

They are vulnerable against rough handling. Hold the banner from both the edges and pull it upwards slowly. Avoid titling it more from either direction or using just one hand.

Tip 2 : Safe rolling in

Once you are done with the display part of it, you need to roll it back, pack it in carry bag again. It can go wrong here as well. While rolling in it is important again to be slow and not force the issue. Hold the standee from both sides and roll it in slowly. Ensure that banner is going in the center of the base. If banner is moving more in one direction pull the banner again and correct, till it is at the center of the base.

Tip 3 : Strong Winds and Extreme Weather Condition

Although standees can be used both indoor and outdoor, it is no secret that they tend to fall against heavy winds. There is nothing to do with what majorly you can do. If your operation area is where there is heavy winds and you want to use standee mainly in such environment, then we recommend to go with luxury or heavy base standees. For normal roll ups you can put bricks at the base leg to avoid the fall. It is also better idea to make them stand against a wall or similar support. Don't make them take blunt of the air strike.

Tip 4 : Aluminium Rods

As you would have seen there is a rod which goes at the back side to hold the banner upright. This rod is divided into 3 equal part and joint with the help of the stretchable string. Sometimes accidentally you may break this string or it is likely to be damaged during the transit.

They are made to fix into one another.

Tip 5 : Bags and Carry Strap-ons

Standee comes with black carry case for easy transport. There are no carry bags available in the market in case you lose one. Don't forget your bags anywhere make habit of putting the unit in the bag. Strap-ons attached to the bag should be hold from the stitch direction and not from other direction.

Tip 6: Avoiding damage during the transit

There are other online companies available as well who provide standees. We at Whizz Prints make sure that our product reaches you in factory output condition without any damages, scratches etc. Packaging at our end is done at multi level. We pack it with multi layer of bubble sheet with extra cushion and protection at the top and bottom. Top and bottom are more susceptible to damage as they carry screws and important unit to hold the standee base. While sending it also somewhere via courier we recommend you to bubble pack it well.

Tip 7 : Changing banner display

You may need to change the display banner after few month. Change is necessitated due to change in price, offers etc. You can change the banner in standees but professional knowledge is required for the same. You should acquaint yourself with the know how before taking the job.
