Though the standard size of flyers in a4 size (size of photocopier paper), but you would see many companies opting for custom size or smaller size like a5 (half of a4 size) and a6 (half of a5 size) size as well. flyers also termed as leaflets are a direct medium to reach out to your potential customers. Consider you want to print in size between a4 and a5 then rate of a4 size will apply as paper comes in a4 size either it can be cut from center and made into a5 which can again be cut from center and new size will be a6. Custom size you can now consider is a4 size cut into 3 parts so new size can be 1/3rd of a4 size which you can go with paying same rate as a4 size.

Designing small size flyer is easy you can get it designed yourself in MS Word, power point and then can save it as pdf. Also you can use adobe illustrator, corel draw, adobe photoshop, adobe pdf for designing. If your not comfortable with designing than you can hire graphic designers as well.

Impact on cost and optimum print quantity

Cost will vary as per size, paper quality, printing machine on which your flyers are getting printed. As paper cost is a significant component of total cost and for higher print run many time it is seen paper contribute upto 80-90% of the total cost, it is advised to go with smaller size. If your printing higher quantity than difference between cost of a5 and a6 can be nearly half i.e. A5 size can cost half of a4 size and a6 size half of an a5 size. If your printing flyers in custom size say 1/3 of a4 then it would cost 1/3 of a4 size. Though MOQ i.e. Minimum order quantity will apply.
