Doctors and medical practitioners often prefer going with the prescription pad instead of the letterhead printing which mainly company uses. Main difference between letterheads and prescription pad is that later is in pad format with strip gumming at top. Letterhead may or many not be in pad form.
As pad format won't allow the sheets to be printed via office printers.
Majorly all hospitals and well known clinics are slowly adopting the computerized billing systems which have letterhead sheets. Still even in major hospitals like AIIMS, Ganga Ram Hospitals etc doctors prefer manual prescription over computerized one as it saves them time. Also inertia sets in as they are working like this for years. We at Whizz Prints hardly can do anything to improve your handwriting skills but we do intend to provide you will well printed prescription pads and letterheads.
Though normally prescription pads are printed in single parent copy alone which is handed over to the patients. But in some cases Doctor may wish to retain one copy for future reference.
Parent copy can be printed in multicolor and duplicates can be printed in single color or multicolor as per your liking.
If you have decided to go with the duplicate copies for your prescription pads, then you have option of either going with carbon copy or carbonless copy. Carbonless copies are easy to deal with as it won't require adjustment of carbon copy and impression will be smooth and non dependent upon if your carbon is old.
As prescription pad comes with the gumming pad at the top which is very easy to remove individual sheets. You have an added option to go with perforation with pining at the top. Perforation is pretty fine and easy to tear. We can't have both gumming and perforation.
We offer complimentary serial coding also known as numbering for your pads. You can use these numbering either for the invoice purpose or as a code to distinguish your patients. It is a good tool to record your patient activity.
We are printing these prescription pads in A4 and A5 sizes. If you wish to print them in the custom size than we can do that as well. Odd size may involve extra cost as paper comes in fixed sizes.
We offer both offset and digital printing for your pads. Option for 1 color, 2 colors and multi color printing is available. Multi color printing will be more expensive than 1 color and 2 color printing. If your logo is multi color than we can convert it into single or 2 color logo at no additional cost. You need to provide us with the editable logo file for making the edit.
We print your prescription pads in paper ranging from 70 gsm to 150 gsm. Mostly all go with 70 to 100 gsm paper. You can also consider royal executive bond paper as well for best paper quality. Higher the thickness of the paper the more will be the price. Normal photocopier paper which you see in the market is of 70-75 gsm which is decent enough to write on.
If you want your patient to use prescription pads for longer duration of time and to retain them for multiple visits than you need to go with thicker and crisper paper.
We don't print doctor prescription pads without approval by the signing authority. This is to ensure that there is no duplicates making the round in the market. We take your brand very seriously.
Price will depend upon the number of pads you are looking at and if you want duplicates. Also the price will depend upon the paper quality. To know the best price which we can offer, kindly call us or email us your requirements.
