Sunboard Printing and its Cost

Sunboard printing is nowadays commonly use advertising media for both indoor and outdoor display. There are two ways of doing it, either you can print your design directly on to the sunboard or you print your banner in some medium like paper, vinyl, solvent or eco solvent material and then you mount it on to the sunboards. Digital machines are capable of directly printing the design to not only sunboard, but even glass, wood, thick plastic sheet, flat beds etc. But still in India, most commonly used way is to paste the banner. These sun boards sheets comes in 3mm and 5mm thickness which can be either tied or supported against some hard surface. Other way used is to paste them on to the wall or do acrylic mounting of these banner also referred as acrylic printing.

Size of sunboard banner:

Sun board are available in almost all sizes and these are big sheets, so this can be cut and used as per requirement. Below are the standard sizes used for printing of sunboards:-

Sunboard printing cost:

There are two elements to the cost of sunboard printing one is printing cost which will depend upon the medium on which you wish to print your banner. For normal vinyl with sticker will cost somewhere between Rs 35/- to Rs 50/- per sq ft and good quality eco solvent vinyl which comes with either gloss or matt lamination will cost Rs 55/- to Rs 75/- per sq ft. The installation and pasting cost on to the sunboard can be another Rs 35/- to Rs 45/- per sq ft. This is the cost if you choose to print banner and then paste it on to the board. If you choose to print directly on to the sunboard then it should cost you around Rs 95/- to Rs 120/- per sq ft. Thanks to good quality printers same quality prints can be expected in either of these options.
